BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team, delivering large civil engineering projects across Scotland, mainly within the energy infrastructure sector, including building new substations to support Scotland's transition to net Zero. Positions are available within our RIIOT2 Framework across various locations such as Orkney, Dounreay, Argyll, and other areas on the west coast of Scotland.

Your mission
As a Site Engineer, your responsibilities include:
* Maintaining high safety and environmental standards
* Supervising assistant engineers
* Ensuring drawings and specifications are accurate and sufficient for construction
* Providing clear setting out for works
* Communicating effectively with foremen and gangers
* Arranging formal setting out checks
* Completing inspection and test plans
* Keeping a detailed daily site diary
* Preparing 4-weekly programmes
* Providing accurate measurements for materials
* Maintaining material reconciliation figures
* Ensuring material delivery tickets are properly cost-coded
* Carrying out testing and sampling of materials
* Assisting the measurement department
* Maintaining survey records
* Receiving and checking materials
Who are we looking for?
The Following Are Mandatory Requirements
* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level
* CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
* SSSTS certification
The Following Are Desirable
* Experience at Assistant Engineer level
* Progress towards ICE Technician or Incorporated level or equivalent
