Due to the nature of the work applicants must be UK Nationals and have completed a recognised apprenticeship. Main Responsibilities Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings. Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting. Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so. Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings. Maintaining material traceability during assembly. Aligning and checking tolerances. Tack welding fabricated parts together. Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates. Working in confined space scopes where required. Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area. Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures and processes, and adherence to legislation.
