We are a young charity with the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of women affected by sexual exploitation. After several years of growth, we now seek a new Chief Executive Officer to lead our team of 7 and guide us into our next phase of sustainable growth and impact.
About the Role
The charity has recently defined its strategic aims for the next three years. We are looking for a leader with the right skills and experience to steer the organization during this exciting period.
We plan to recruit two management roles to cover all aspects of charity management. The CEO will provide overarching leadership, with another management position to be decided based on the candidate's skills and experience. This flexible approach allows you to shape the role and influence the composition of our senior management team.

* Inspire, influence, and drive the charity’s vision to increase its profile and impact within the Violence Against Women and Girls sector and beyond.
* Ensure adherence to the charity’s vision and mission, overseeing strategic direction and management.

* Line Manager: Yada Chair of Trustees
* Hours/Days: Flexible (21-35 hours per week)
* Salary: £34,434.40 pro rata
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: One-year fixed term, renewable pending funding
* Location: Yada Offices, West Worthing/Chichester

Responsibilities
Management & HR
* Ensure compliance with Yada’s vision and mission
* Manage senior staff and host monthly team meetings
* Attend quarterly Trustee meetings and liaise with Trustees
* Oversee project evaluations and prepare the Trustees’ Annual Report
* Manage relationships with the Charity Commission and ensure legal compliance (Data Protection, GDPR, Equality, DBS, Health & Safety)
Development & Strategy
* Lead organizational strategy development
* Identify new initiatives and evaluate pilot projects
* Oversee long-term vision planning
Finance & Fundraising
* Lead financial decision-making and compliance
* Manage budgets, payroll, pensions, invoices, grants, investments, Gift Aid, and independent examinations
* Oversee fundraising activities, including grant applications, events, and corporate sponsorships
* Develop and maintain relationships with funders, monitoring and reporting as needed
Networking & Operations
* Represent Yada at network events and develop local partnerships
* Monitor and evaluate operational activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Maintain systems and processes, and manage staff and volunteer recruitment and training
Safeguarding & Policy
* Act as Safeguarding Lead
* Oversee safeguarding procedures and reporting
* Review and develop policies and risk assessments
Communications
* Oversee the communications strategy
