Project Manager – Tier 1 Main Contractor Tayside Competitive salary + benefitsContract Scotland are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Tayside area. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to take ownership of high-quality projects from inception through to completion.About the role As Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role on site, working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to ensure accurate financial reporting and commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle. You will support the development of the main works programme and ensure no works commence on site until all health & safety requirements and the relevant Construction Phase Plan are in place.Key responsibilities include:Developing method statements, risk assessments, and supporting the overall safety plan in line with CDM Regulations as Principal ContractorProviding strong leadership, direction, and support to all site employeesManaging labour resources and maintaining high levels of productivity across site operationsCoordinating and expediting the release of design information and materials from the design teamEnsuring full compliance with company Quality Procedures and Management SystemsEffectively managing all subcontractors and supply chain partnersMonitoring workmanship and quality to ensure a defect-free handoverWhat we need from you You will ideally be qualified to degree level in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or hold a relevant trade background within the construction industry.You should bring:Demonstrable leadership and management experience within construction or housebuildingProven ability to deliver projects from inception through to completionStrong understanding and commitment to Health & Safety best practiceA quality-driven mindset with excellent attention to detailConfidence in managing teams, subcontractors, and multiple project stakeholdersWhat's on offer Competitive salary packageOpportunity to work with a well-established and respected contractorStrong pipeline of secured work in the Tayside regionLong-term career progression opportunities within a growing businessLegal Information:We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.For roles in the UK, applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.We value diversity and promote equality.
