Overview
As our Cloud Modernisation Practice Lead, you’ll lead a high-performing team delivering cloud-native modernisation projects for Atech customers on Microsoft Azure. You’ll combine technical leadership, delivery oversight and people management to ensure projects land on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of application modernisation projects
* Act as technical lead on complex, high-priority work
* Drive Agile delivery practices and continuously improve our methodology
* Identify risks, resolve issues and keep projects on track
* Mentor and develop your engineering team
* Ensure high-quality documentation and delivery outputs
* Work closely with Product, Architecture and cross-functional teams to align delivery
* Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
* Recruit, manage and support team performance
* Monitor forecasts, support revenue targets and allocate resources effectively
* Embed best practices, lead lessons-learned sessions and champion continuous improvement
* Promote innovation and explore new technologies to enhance customer outcomes
What we look for
* Strong software development experience with modern architecture on Microsoft Azure
* Hands-on expertise with App Services, AKS, Functions, Container Apps, API Management, SQL and Cosmos DB
* 5+ years IT experience with Microsoft technologies
* Experience leading technical delivery on complex, high-impact projects
* Understanding of Azure PaaS, application infrastructure and deployment methods
* Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Azure DevOps
* Clear communication and collaboration across teams
* Proactive risk identification and effective contingency planning
* Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
