Group Tax and Treasury - Group Corporate Tax Manager

We now have a new permanent full-time opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager. This role reports to the Group Tax Manager, responsible for tax compliance and planning across our Group businesses.
What you'll do
Compliance and reporting
* Complete all UK corporate tax computations and returns.
* Prepare R&D claims for inclusion within the returns.
* Coordinate with third-party advisors on capital allowances claims.
* Complete Ireland and overseas branch returns.
* Assist with year-end and interim tax workings, journals, and disclosures, working closely with the Group Tax Manager and Group Finance.
* Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of tax numbers.
* Assist with implementing OECD BEPS Pillar Two rules.
* Prepare budget and forecast for current and deferred tax numbers.
* Work with Group Finance on tax numbers and disclosures for UK subsidiary accounts.
* Calculate and monitor UK, Jersey, and Ireland tax payments.
* Assist with overseas compliance and review returns prepared by advisors.
* Manage overseas tax payments, ensuring accuracy and tracking.
* Handle tax enquiries from HMRC and overseas authorities.
* Support SAO obligations.
Transfer pricing
* Ensure robust transfer pricing procedures and documentation.
* Prepare transfer pricing calculations with UK and overseas finance teams.
* Monitor global transfer pricing updates and communicate changes.
* Prepare Country by Country submissions to HMRC.
Tax advisory
* Assist with Group Tax Strategy documentation and implementation.
* Maintain tax summaries for overseas territories.
* Advise on global tax implications of transactions.
* Collaborate on capital structuring and cash repatriation.
* Guide on setting up new businesses and dissolutions.
* Work on withholding and stamp tax requirements.
* Monitor global tax developments and assess impacts.
* Provide ad hoc tax advice, including on acquisitions.
Who you are
* ACA and/or CTA qualified with 3-5 PQE, preferably with industry experience.
* Experience in UK corporate tax return preparation.
* Knowledge of group and statutory disclosures.
* Experience with transfer pricing issues.
* Understanding of international tax systems.
* Effective communicator.
* Excellent PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
* OneSource experience is preferable.
