Our client is a well-established European trailer operator and Freight forwarder, a market leader in the provision of European logistics services to a large number of very substantial manufacturers, importers and exporters both in the UK and in Europe We are now looking for a Senior Freight Operations Coordinator to work at our clients office in St Albans Your role will involve * Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK. * Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers. * Negotiating with both Customers and Suppliers to achieve most cost-effective solution. * Providing the highest standards of Customer service. * Processing Customer orders through use of the bespoke in-house" operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail. * Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client's freight into and from Europe. * Building very strong relationships with our clients, principally through verbal engagement. * Communicating with colleagues in different departments to ensure internal procedures are followed correctly.
