Trade Counter Assistant / Driver
Hours
44 hours per week – Permanent. Monday to Friday 7am‑4:30pm, Saturday 8am‑12pm on rota.
Salary
£29,080 basic salary per year.
Bonus / OTE
Realistic total earning potential up to £32,680 per year.

Responsibilities
* Drive and deliver products to customers via Eurocell’s 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Plan routes, drive safely, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Make trade counter sales to achieve sales targets; communicate product knowledge to customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
* Support Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor with daily operations.
* Assist with branch activities, stock management, warehouse and front‑of‑house cleanliness.
* Maintain operational standards, ensuring branch sales targets are met.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
* Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach; confident and happy to serve customers and engage proactively.
* Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins.
* Strong organisational skills; ability to prioritise and work independently.
* Confident IT user – experience with MS Office and industry software such as SAP.
* Full and valid driving licence essential; FLT licence distinct advantage.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience distinct advantage.
* Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
* Experience within a similar role (retail, builders merchant, glazing, uPVC) distinct advantage.
