Our successful Corporate Finance Advisory team completed 258 deals worth £15.4bn in 2024 and was named the UK’s No.1 M&A Advisor by Pitchbook. We have approximately 135 advisors across the UK, combining strong regional presence, sector expertise, and access to our international network, including Debt Advisory and Public Company Advisory routes.
We work with midmarket companies on growth and exit strategies, building trusted relationships and helping clients identify suitable transactions—whether through private equity, debt funding, or public markets—to facilitate growth, exit, or succession planning.
In this role, you will support deal teams with tasks related to preparing and executing business sales and acquisitions, employing your financial and negotiation skills to complete transactions. You will be part of a collaborative team that values working together and celebrating success.

Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager or Manager in our Corporate Finance team, you will:
* Support transaction execution and contribute to multiple projects.
* Impact clients and the firm through high standards of work.
* Engage in the full project lifecycle, from sourcing to completion, working closely with peers and senior leaders.
* Assist in financial and commercial data analysis.
* Draft information memoranda and marketing materials.
* Prepare client presentations and pitch documents.
* Assist in company valuation using various methods.
* Work with a diverse range of clients across sectors and regions, developing industry-specific expertise.
* Develop your skills and support others’ growth with your manager’s guidance.
Candidate Requirements
The minimum criteria include:
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, CIPFA, CFA) or relevant experience in M&A with a proven track record.
Preferred skills include:
* Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
* Understanding of financial statement analysis and modeling.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Resilience, organization, multitasking ability.
* Ambition and teamwork skills in a dynamic environment.
* Strong ethical standards.
* Relationship management and business development experience.
* Experience in UK professional services or advisory firms.
