This is a full-spectrum Talent Development leadership role — spanning Talent Acquisition, learning, leadership development, succession, and performance. The foundations are in place. Now they need someone to architect the talent strategy that takes the business to the next level.
The agenda is genuinely exciting:
Rebuilding the induction programme for serious scale. Redesigning the apprenticeship architecture. Building a leadership development programme that creates the next generation of leaders. Ensuring the talent acquisition function is positioned to attract the right people at pace and volume. Owning the performance and succession framework. Leading and developing a growing team.
This is a role for someone who has done this before - ideally across a complex, multi-site, fast-paced environment - and who is ready to own the entire talent lifecycle, not just a slice of it.
What we're looking for:
Someone who has operated at Director level within Talent Development and who can demonstrate genuine breadth across both the acquisition and development sides of the talent lifecycle. Who has built and scaled talent functions in high-growth, operationally complex environments. Who thinks strategically but is comfortable getting close to the work when it matters. Who uses data to drive decisions and tell the story of impact. Who brings genuine energy for developing people at scale — and who knows what great looks like across multi-site operations.
The opportunity:
This role reports directly to the COO - with a clear line of sight to a broader People Director remit for the right person as the business continues to scale.
