Our workforce is at the heart of this critical infrastructure project, and we are committed to fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with operational leaders to provide strategic HR support, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning efforts to meet project demands.
* Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and supporting leadership in performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
* Handle complex employee relations cases, working collaboratively with unions and stakeholders.

* Drive employee engagement strategies to foster collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the project.
* Support change management and organisational development initiatives.
* Provide HR data insights and analytics to support decision-making and workforce performance.

Essential Requirements

* Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, and union engagement.
* Experience in workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data for decision-making.

Desirable

* CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Experience working on major infrastructure or nuclear projects.
* Familiarity with the Joint Venture (JV) model and its HR complexities.

Additional Information

All positions with BYLOR are employed directly with Laing O'Rourke or Bouygues Travaux Publics, offering competitive salaries, private medical insurance, pension schemes, and holiday allowance. Some roles include a company car allowance.

Positions are based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, known for its English countryside, coastline, and proximity to Bristol and Exeter.

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of nuclear construction with a competitive package.
