Do you have MIG Welding experience?
JCB, the UKs leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, are looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at one of our sites in Staffordshire.
The MIG Welder role comes with a favourable hourly rate starting at £17.39 per hour.
We currently have roles for varying shifts patterns, including 4 on 4 off nights and also 4 on 4 off days.
Responsibilities
* Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel.
* You must possess the ability to read and understand welding drawings
* Have effective verbal, and written skills
Requirements
* To apply for the MIG Welding position, you will need an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record. Previous MIG welding experience is essential for this position.
* All applicants will be required to successfully complete a client specific weld test on-site at JCB as part of the assessment process. This may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld.
* You will need to be flexible and willing to work shifts, and shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable.
