Resourcing Advisor (12-Month Contract)
A Resourcing Advisor supports the candidate journey and collaborates with smaller stakeholder groups to facilitate recruitment activities. The role is based in Dartford, with travel to sites and offices as needed. This position covers EPL for a period of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
* Advise on resourcing requirements, working with resource managers and hiring managers to identify and engage candidates.
* Utilise the existing database and job boards to proactively source candidates in a skills-short market.
* Support resource managers on strategy, talent pooling, reactive resourcing, and hiring campaigns.
* Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to enable opportunities for diverse candidates and transferable skills.
* Capture data on recruitment trends such as salary alignment, market intelligence, skills shortages, and transferable skill sets.
* Utilise the applicant tracking system to organise talent pools and select suitable applicants.
* Understand and actively promote diversity and inclusion goals.
* Screen candidates against job criteria, conduct initial phone screenings, and ensure the best candidates are selected.
* Promote Laing O'Rourke and its employer brand positively.
* Engage with projects and hiring teams to understand requirements and expand knowledge.
* Work closely with teams to reduce/mitigate contractor populations.
* Provide an excellent onboarding experience through effective communication and candidate relationship management.
* Identify recruitment trends and report on market intelligence.
* Create effective job advertisements based on hiring briefs and project knowledge.
* Maintain administrative records, notes, and tracking of resource plans.
* Support internal movements when required.
* Advise hiring teams on recruitment processes.
* Assist the Resourcing operations team with tasks such as role approvals, system support, and changes.
Minimum Requirements:
* A degree or formal qualification in HR or recruitment, or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Understanding of recruitment practices and candidate management.
* Knowledge of recruitment challenges and search techniques like Boolean searches.
* Experience with CRM, Candidate Attraction, or similar systems such as eArcu, Invenias, PageUp.
* Ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks.
* Team-oriented mindset with a goal-driven approach.
