We are seeking a strategic and experiencedHead of Propertyto lead our Property Services team and deliver the property requirements of our Growth Strategy. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Director of Legal and Company Secretary, and is pivotal in supporting our expanding service delivery and retail footprint.
You will be responsible for overseeing a growing and increasingly complex property portfolio, including the opening of four new retail shops per year and one new youth service site annually over the next eight years.
A key part of this role will be your ability to:
* Lead the Property Services Team– Manage Estates and Buildings Surveyors, Governance, and Support Managers to deliver high-performing property operations.
* Oversee Property Strategy and Compliance– Direct acquisitions, maintenance, and legal compliance in alignment with TCS’s Growth Strategy.
* Drive Financial and Operational Performance– Manage budgets, optimize property value, and ensure efficient service delivery.
* Support ESG and Sustainability Goals– Contribute to Carbon Neutral/Net Zero initiatives and broader ESG commitments.
* Enhance Systems and Stakeholder Engagement– Improve helpdesk support, contractor management, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector (preferred but not essential).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience in strategic property planning and supporting organisational growth.
* Technical knowledge of property estates and interests.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic, ESG and sustainability goals
* Professional qualification in property management or surveying (e.g., RICS).
* Experience working with diverse property portfolios and managing change in a growing organisation.
