Senior Indirect Tax Manager – Various Locations
Our client is looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Manager to join a dynamic and collaborative team supporting organisations across the property, hospitality and construction sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, provide strategic guidance on complex technical matters, and play a key part in the continued growth of a high‑performing specialist practice.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work within a team that helps organisations navigate VAT and other indirect tax requirements, optimise compliance processes, and manage risk. The role includes supporting clients with day‑to‑day tax management, advising on transactions, reducing operational errors, and ensuring indirect taxes are correctly integrated into financial systems and supply chains.
As a senior manager, the individual will lead engagements, develop team capability, and build strong client relationships while contributing to the expansion of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
* Lead, support and inspire high‑performing teams

Client Delivery
* Manage complex indirect tax projects with a practical, commercially focused approach
* Advise on VAT implications of large and sophisticated transactions, including M&A
* Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
* Apply strong negotiation skills and effectively handle technical and commercial challenges
* Identify opportunities for additional client support and contribute to business development
* Collaborate across service lines and manage incoming leads
* Ensure value is delivered to clients while appropriately managing risk

Required Experience
* Significant experience in VAT within a professional services environment or in‑house role
* A recognised tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA, CA, tax inspector training, or equivalent specialist expertise)

* Strong project‑management capability, including prioritisation and budget monitoring
