You’ll work closely with experienced finance leaders who understand the regulatory, operational, and commercial realities of social housing and value clarity, accuracy, and sound financial judgement.

The role
6. Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and clear commentary for housing services
7. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, working with budget holders to ensure accuracy and ownership
8. Maintain strong balance sheet control, including reconciliations and investigation of variances
9. Prepare and analyse financial information to support service managers and Heads of Service
10. Assist with business cases, investment appraisals, and value-for-money reviews
11. Support year-end processes, audit requirements, and regulatory reporting
12. Help improve management reporting, financial processes, and controls across the organisation
13. Act as a trusted finance contact for stakeholders, providing clear and practical financial guidance
What you’ll bring
14. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or equivalent experience
15. Experience within social housing or another regulated environment
16. Strong management accounting and core financial control skills
17. The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
18. A proactive, collaborative, and detail-focused approach
