Network Engineer (BAU) – SC Cleared Location: Hampshire (on-site minimum 4 days/week) Clearance: SC required Contract Length: ASAP start – provisionally until end of July Sector: Secure / Defence Environment Overview We are looking for a Network Engineer to support BAU operations across a secure enterprise network. You will work on modern software-defined networking, segmentation, and resilient network services. Key Responsibilities Deploy and administer VMware NSX including logical switching, routing, and micro-segmentation Support Layer 2/3 network design including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and trunking Manage firewalls, segmentation strategies, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust principles Support load balancing and high-availability architectures Deploy and optimise SD-WAN solutions Automate network configuration using Python, Ansible, or APIs Manage core services including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM Monitor network performance and telemetry for optimisation Desirable Experience working in secure or defence environments Exposure to advanced observability and flow analysis tooling Apply / Refer If you hold SC clearance and are looking to contribute to a secure, high-impact network environment, we would be pleased to speak with you.
