You will lead analytical workstreams on client projects, help productionise workflows and mentor more junior members of the team. As part of a fast-growing area, you will get the opportunity to play a central role in developing new IP and shaping the frameworks and tools we use to help decision making across sporting performance, commercial and operations. We are looking for someone proactive, excited by the opportunity of working in a growing team, and who loves sport. Responsibilities: Lead data science workstreams on client projects, managing analysts and collaborating with consultants Develop and deploy statistical models and core IP Build reusable tools to streamline analysis and visualisation Communicate insights clearly to all audiences Mentor junior team members and support capability growth Work with engineers to productionise solutions Requirements: Strong knowledge of regression, classification, and machine learning algorithms, with experience applying them in real-world settings Passion for sports analytics, with previous working experience an advantage Proficient in Python or R, with good SQL skills Familiarity with coding best practices (version control, testing, documentation) Experience working with relational database systems and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred) Comfortable working in a fast-paced consultancy or agency environment, within cross-functional teams Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Compensation And Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
