Job Purpose
Working as part of the Terminal team, this role ensures the safe receipt, storage, and delivery of fuel and bulk liquids to both inland and marine customers. Responsibilities will include a selection of the following activities: fuelling operations, mooring operations, vessel loading/offloading, lifting operations, cargo inspection, and handling duties.
Roles & Responsibilities
General
* Carry out two or more of the following activities, depending on skills and experience, with appropriate training and support:
* Control the movement of marine gas oil via pipeline, monitor plant status, and respond to alarm conditions in line with operational and emergency procedures.
* Co-ordinate and oversee the safe and efficient loading/offloading of vessels in accordance with Operations/Shipping plans, procedures, and regulations.
* Supervise and undertake lifting operations, equipment inspections, and cargo handling duties.
* Inspect cargo, record findings, and report non-conformances.
* Operate forklift trucks and other appropriate equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
* Full Driving Licence with B+E (or passed B Licence pre-1997).

* Level 2 Diploma in Bulk Liquid Operations.
* Awareness training in HASAWA, LOLER, and PUWER.
* Manual Handling certification.
* Dangerous Goods and Oil Spill Awareness.
* Vehicle Banksman and Forklift Spotter training.
* Security Awareness.
* Diversity and Inclusion training.
* Previous operational/logistics experience.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation.
* IT literacy.
* Banksman Slinger certificate – OPITO Stage 3/4.
HSSEQ
* Work in partnership with the HSSEQ department to continuously improve safety, environmental performance, and compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Report all incidents or breaches of policy/regulations to the line manager.
