Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor)
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 + package
Location: Oxfordshire
A dynamic, forward-thinking and growing main contractor with a turnover of circa £100m have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a project in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The company have been around for approximately 10 years and have continuously grown from strength to strength. They are privately owned and managed by a dynamic team with extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry.
They specialise in the delivery of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, commercial and infrastructure, between £5m to £30m in value. They offer their key clients services nationwide; they have some excellent lasting relationships and win a lot of repeat business as a result.
They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a £9m new build industrial and commercial project in Bicester, which also consists of infrastructure works. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be supported by a full commercial team on site and the project will last for approximately 35 weeks. Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
* Ideally Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
* Career focused and driven to succeed
* Good commercial awareness
* Full UK drivers’ license
