Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working. There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 reflecting the incorporation of the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This top-up will be in place until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic Health Visitors to join our Newport Health Visiting Team. You will work within a team delivering an Early Years Health Visiting programme to families within the City of Newport. The successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications, professionalism, and clinical skills to work independently and in partnership with parents, carers, and other services such as Early Years, Primary Care, Children Services, and School Nursing. Applications from students due to qualify are also welcomed.
Main Duties
Health Visitors contribute to developing new projects and policies within the service, involved in research, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based practice. You will provide universal, enhanced, and intensive health visiting services to children and families from diverse backgrounds. The role involves working as part of a team across local areas to ensure a safe service for all preschool children and their families.
