DN Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic Vocational Clinical Educator to bridge the gap between education and clinical practice. This unique role offers the opportunity to shape the future workforce by delivering high-quality education at Doncaster College and supporting clinical training across Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH).
As a Vocational Clinical Educator, you will:
* Deliver and assess clinical and vocational training across further and higher education programmes.
* Support learners in both academic and clinical settings, including apprenticeships and the Care Certificate.
* Collaborate with NHS and education teams to ensure a consistent, learner-centred approach to development.
* Play a key role in curriculum development and quality assurance.
Essential Criteria
* Registered healthcare professional.
* Degree (or working towards) in a relevant subject.
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Significant post-registration clinical experience.
* Experience in delivering education and training in healthcare settings.
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging curriculum content and clinical skills training.
* Teach and assess learners in classroom and clinical environments.
* Support learner progress, pastoral care, and academic development.
* Conduct clinical assessments and sign off competencies.
* Deliver Care Certificate and statutory training across DBTH.
* Liaise with NHS education leads and clinical teams to support workforce development.
* Promote high standards of patient care through education.
* Facilitate placements, audits, and quality assurance in clinical settings.
