THE ROLE
We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals who excel in craftsmanship, mechanics, and hands-on problem-solving to join our team as Rental Fleet Agent at our depot. This role is critical to ensuring our fleet of campervans is maintained at the highest standards, enabling our customers to embark on unforgettable journeys.
As a Campervan Mechanic, you will be part of our Edinburgh team and work with the UKI & Nordics Regional Team. Your primary responsibility is to maintain our campervans at all times and in the best condition, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Reporting directly to the local leader, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting systematic inspections and diagnosing issues in vehicles’ mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
* Performing maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including:
o Preventive and corrective maintenance
o Light bodywork repairs involving spare parts (lightbulbs, windows, side mirrors)
o Replacing and repairing campervan spare parts
o Troubleshooting and repairing appliances
o Maintaining relationships with external partners
o Coordinating interventions with external suppliers and regional teams
o Keeping vehicle information systems updated
o Moving campervans to and from vendors, parking facilities, or depots
o Maintaining depot equipment and organizing spare parts
o Updating spare parts inventory systems
* Participating in daily depot operations, including:
o Preparing vehicles and equipment for customers
o Handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
o Receiving shipments, organizing storage, and managing supplies
o Maintaining depot equipment and consumables
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or automotive technical programs
* At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical repairs (campervans experience is a plus)
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
* Availability to work weekends and holidays
* Valid Driver’s License
* Proficiency in English and good communication skills
