We are currently partnering with a non-departmental publicly funded organisation that is recruiting for a Research Events Coordinator to join their growing team on a 15-month FTC basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £31,000 per annum (subject to experience). The start date is to be confirmed based on notice period.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Attending meetings, taking notes, and circulating agendas related to event planning and preparation
* Booking travel and accommodation for external speakers and VIP attendees, processing invoices, and ensuring prompt payments
* Liaising with the Events Department and other NG teams to order refreshments, furniture, and catering supplies
* Arranging IT and AV support for research events, including rehearsals, livestreams, and recordings
* Creating event copy for the NG website, e-newsletters, and other communication channels
* Collaborating with the Digital and Creative Teams to design branded event templates and promotional materials
Experience required:
* Experience in general administration
Skills, knowledge, and expertise required:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ideally, experience in events management
Working hours:
* 35 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
