The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and well-organised Probate Paralegal to join a busy and supportive Private Client team. This role offers the chance to work on a varied caseload, assisting solicitors with all aspects of probate and estate administration.
You will be responsible for managing your own files under supervision, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring that all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the administration of estates, including preparing documentation for applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
Drafting correspondence, estate accounts, and other legal documents.
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other third parties.
Managing files from initial instruction through to completion under appropriate supervision.
Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate records.
Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Supporting fee earners and contributing to the efficient running of the department.
About You
Experience working within a probate, private client, or wills and estates team.
Strong understanding of probate processes and estate administration (training can be provided for developing candidates).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
