Responsibilities
* Supervise day‑to‑day delivery of care and ensure users' needs are met.
* Ensure the care, welfare and safety of service users and the health and safety of staff.
* Act as case coordinator for individual service users and review person‑centred support plans to keep them up‑to‑date.
* Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff within an equal opportunities framework.
* Conduct monthly supervisions and participate in the staff appraisal programme for subordinate staff.
* Act as a staff skills coach and undertake team‑building and training programmes aligned with individual and company development plans.
* Ensure that the requirements of legislation, Care Standards and company policies and procedures are followed.
* Prepare service‑user and staff reports and keep records current and accurate.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Health and Social Care.
* Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
* Ability to keep calm under pressure.
* Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
* Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
