We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (with either Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join a leading building services provider at a static commercial site in Heathrow, West London.
This is a night-only position working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. You'll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of M&E systems. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your technical skills, gain hands‑on experience in a commercial environment, and work for a respected and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of systems and equipment.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
* Carry out maintenance tasks on systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, AHUs, FCUs, general lighting, minor plumbing, and basic fabric repairs.
* Support and liaise with subcontractors and ensure work is completed in line with compliance and health & safety standards.
* Follow maintenance schedules and complete tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor or Building Services Manager.
* Demonstrate a flexible, multi‑skilled approach to support efficient, cost‑effective task completion.
Requirements
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
* Strong fault‑finding skills and a customer‑focused approach.

* 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern (6 : 30 PM – 6 : 30 AM)
