Your newpany
Hays has been approached by a primary school in the Skelmersdale area who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter half-term through until the end of the summer break. This school provides a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, regardless of ability or background. We have an excellent relationship with this school and have always had good feedback from staff placed there, with some roles even turning permanent.
Your new role
In the role of teaching assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the class teacher as well as supporting the needs of the pupils, whether that be in a group or in a 1:1 setting across KS2. There are additional needs within the classes, so you will need to have prior experience working with SEN. You will need to provide additional support with phonics, reading, maths and English. You should possess good behaviour management skills and be able to hit the ground running when being placed in school.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. You will need to be available to start after the Easter half-term andmit fully to the role.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a highlypetitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will be an integral part of a weing team of TAs. You will therefore have the opportunity to further develop your own teaching assistant skills and experience.
A dedicated consultant will always be on hand should you have any questions or concerns.
