Due to ongoing growth, we are now seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor / Officer to join our team. ⸻ The Role Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will support and advise our teams across various live projects to ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practice. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments • Monitor and promote health and safety standards across all projects • Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and support staff training • Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations • Assist in the development and implementation of H&S policies, procedures, and safe systems of work • Maintain accurate H&S documentation, including RAMS, COSHH assessments, and accident records • Liaise with site managers, operatives, clients, and external bodies as required • Support with compliance under CDM Regulations and relevant housing authority frameworks ⸻ Requirements • NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential) • Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction, refurbishment, or social housing environment • Good knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM 2015 • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Full UK driving licence (required – travel to sites across London is essential) • IOSH or working towards TechIOSH / CMIOSH (desirable) ⸻ What We Offer • Competitive salary (£37,000 – £40,000 depending on experience) • Company vehicle or travel allowance • 28 days paid holiday • Ongoing CPD and support with IOSH/NEBOSH progression • Supportive team environment with real career development opportunities
