Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an Migration Technical Support Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableEngineer to provide hands-on technical and operational support during the migration phase. This role ensures smooth device refresh, accurate workflow updates, and secure handling of IT assets, supporting the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager throughout the process.
1. Location: Norcross - Blackpool
2. Daily Rate: £ – PAYE, £ – UMB
3. Contract Day: 19-Jan-26 till 20-Feb-26 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
4. Assist in setting up the Refresh Clinic for migration activities.
5. Move required devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as instructed.
6. Log in to systems using devices provided under guidance.
7. Refresh laptops according to migration requirements.
8. Seek guidance from the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager when required.
9. Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings.
10. Secure devices in onsite storage at the end of each day.
Key Requirements:
11. Must hold valid SC Clearance.
12. Strong attention to detail in workflow and stock management.
13. Ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
14. Goodmunication skills to coordinate with engineers and site managers.
15. Basic technical knowledge of laptop refresh and system login procedures.
16. Reliability in securing and handling IT equipment.
