PIP 2 Investigator (Serious and Complex Crime)
Location: Loddon Valley
Rate: Up to £30 per hour
Are you an experienced investigator with a passion for solving complex and serious crimes? Thames Valley Police (TVP), in collaboration with Lewis Ashcroft and Service Care, is seeking a dedicated PIP 2 Investigator to join their team in Loddon Valley.
Role Overview:
As a PIP 2 Investigator, you will play a crucial role in managing and progressing the investigation of serious criminal offences. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with police officers and staff to deliver justice and maintain public confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct and coordinate investigations using advanced techniques and technologies.
2. Interview suspects and witnesses to gather critical evidence.
3. Manage and prioritise caseloads, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.
4. Prepare and deliver high-quality prosecution files within tight deadlines.
5. Collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable victims.
6. Attend court hearings, providing evidence and supporting the prosecution team.
Requirements:
7. PIP 1 accreditation or equivalent experience in criminal justice investigations.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
9. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
10. Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel across the designated area.
11. Full UK driving license is essential.
