Paediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Regional role in London – Central and Greater London
Salary: Up to £26,000 FTE, dependent on experience (multiple positions available)
Hours: 37.5 hour/week – flexible across 6 days (Mon‑Fri)
Contract: Permanent – Summer contract of 50 weeks (5 weeks off in summer break + 22 days holiday)

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a registered Occupational Therapist, providing interventions, monitoring client progress, attending meetings, and advocating for clients and families. You will also support indirect tasks such as creating programmes, scheduling, developing resources and contributing to service improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver interventions for paediatric clients under supervision.
* Provide feedback on client progress and attend multidisciplinary meetings.
* Advocate for clients and families alongside the treating therapist.
* Assist in scheduling, programme creation, resource development and improvement projects.
* Support the overall clinical workflow and maintain professional standards.
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience working with children.
* Effective communication and professional skills.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working within a healthcare setting.
* Experience with children with additional needs.
* People management experience.
