General Electrician Location: Belfast (Multi-Site Spirit Account) Salary: £38,000 Company Phone & Laptop Benefits Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Black Fox Solutions is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities services provider for an experienced General Electrician to deliver multi-site electrical support across a vast manufacturing estate totalling over 3 million sq. ft. This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work with a well-established client on a long-term contract. As a key member of the engineering team, youll provide a mix of reactive maintenance, EICR remedials, planned preventative works and general electrical repairs across several sites. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong fault-finding capabilities, and be confident managing their own workload. Key Responsibilities Service Delivery Respond to electrical breakdowns promptly and professionally across multiple locations. Meet agreed response times for priority tasks to minimise operational disruption. Use a PDA to manage, record and close out tasks accurately. Install new electrical wiring and systems as required. Carry out inspection, testing and certification to a high standard, including minor works and installation certificates. Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently. Undertake EICR remedial works, including Code 1 and Code 2 actions. Complete emergency lighting remedial tasks. Carry out repairs to internal lighting (high bay, low bay, task lighting) and external lighting systems. Manage and prioritise your own workload to ensure timely completion of all tasks. Quality, Safety & Compliance Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Adhere to company policies, procedures and industry regulations. Report incidents, accidents and near-misses in line with guidelines. Participate in health & safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement. Additional Duties Engage in training and development as required. Identify and share potential opportunities that could support business growth. Assist with customer initiatives that deliver long-term value. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the management team. Essential Criteria City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation. City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Desired Experience Previous experience as a General Electrician within a reactive and planned maintenance environment. Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations and safety standards. Experience using a PDA or similar digital task-management tool. Proven ability to meet response time requirements. Comfortable managing workload independently. Experience working in a results-driven environment. Background in customer-facing roles. Full clean driving licence. Desired Skills IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Ability to motivate and support colleagues when required.
