We're a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we're not done yet.The roleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Analyst to support the delivery of enhancements to our Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform and drive improvements in Expense Accounting processes. A key focus of this role is ensuring strict adherence to project governance frameworks, supporting structured delivery, and enabling effective decision-making through data and insight.Key Responsibilities:
* Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with finance and technical stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for Oracle EPM enhancements and expense accounting improvements.
* Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and control improvements.
* Project Governance Support: Ensure all project activities comply with governance standards, including documentation, approvals, change control, and audit readiness.
* Testing & Validation: Develop test cases, support UAT, and validate system changes to ensure they meet business needs and compliance standards.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and project teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain high-quality documentation including business cases, process flows, governance logs, and project status updates.
Strong understanding of Oracle EPM modules (Planning, Financial Consolidation, etc.).
* Experience in expense accounting processes and financial data analysis.
* Familiarity with project governance frameworks (e.g., PMO standards, audit controls).
* Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and JIRA.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of the Phoenix Finance Architecture
