The Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach department (UAO) provides a stimulating and challenging working environment. The UAO department operates a hybrid working environment. The regularity of office and working from home days will be discussed as part of the interview process, with the expectation that 2-3 days per week will be in the office. About the Role This is a highly operational and logistical based role that leads the delivery of outreach programme activity which can be either face-to-face or digital or a blended approach, as well as relevant grant-giving activity. The role will enable the effective delivery of outreach programmes that meet specified aims, objectives and outcomes, and are delivered within agreed business cases, resources, budgets and timeframes. About You • Extensive experience of delivering events (in-person and online) within the field of widening access and recruitment in higher education• Strong leader and experience in the management of a team• Highly organised with an ability to manage priorities and workloads • Experience of setting and managing a budget(s) and reviewing and understanding expenditure reports• Have an analytical and methodical approach to investigating problems and resolving issues.
