About the role
Vision for Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time within a Primary School based in Sutton Coldfield, starting September 2026. This is to work with a pupil in KS1 on a 1:1 basis.
Requirements
To apply for this Teaching Assistant role in Sutton Coldfield, you should have:
1. Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting, or a relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
2. A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
3. Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the update service.
4. Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years.
5. Confidence assisting with individual and small-group learning activities, including supporting different learning needs.
