About Our Client

My client is a successful manufacturing organisation based in Nottingham looking for a full time 2nd Line Support

Job Description

3. Evaluate and recommend hardware solutions to support end-user workstations.
4. Diagnose and resolve complex desktop issues on-site, coordinating off-site repairs when required.
5. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
6. Support and maintain printing, scanning, and presentation equipment.
7. Collaborate with IT team members to ensure efficient desktop environment operations.
8. Manage user accounts, including onboarding and offboarding within Microsoft 365.
9. Gather and document network-related issues from users and escalate to the MSP.
10. Report and escalate system issues and outages, ensuring timely resolution.
11. Act as on-site support working with the MSP on network, O365, and cybersecurity incidents.
12. Respond to support requests via calls, messages, and ticketing systems while coordinating with vendors when necessary.

13. Strong customer service focus with a commitment to user satisfaction.
14. Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
15. Ability to prioritise and manage tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
16. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
17. Capable of researching and analysing PC and software issues as needed.
18. Skilled at explaining technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language.
19. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
20. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
21. Strong team player with experience in collaborative environments.
22. Can commute to Nottingham.
