Role Description
The Operations & Visitor Experience Manager at Cambridge Science Centre will oversee the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the Centre. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing visitor engagement, and maintaining the overall quality of the visitor experience. The role requires coordinating logistics for shows, workshops, and outreach programs, as well as implementing operational strategies to enhance our offerings. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cambridge.

* Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and evaluating operational processes
* Excellent Communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
* Customer Service and Customer Experience expertise to ensure a positive and engaging atmosphere for all visitors
* Solid Project Management skills to organise, plan, and execute initiatives efficiently
* Experience in managing teams and an educational or science centre is advantageous
* A passion for science communication and public engagement
* Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a busy science centre environment
* Prior experience in operational roles or similar management positions
