About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for Technicians to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our key client EDF Energy Nuclear Operations with their nuclear fleet in the UK. This is a key role within our Stations Services team based at Torness Power Station. You will support work across the UK nuclear fleet, reporting to the Site General Manager and Field Supervisors. The team will be diverse and inclusive to maintain the safe operational status of these facilities by carrying out routine maintenance of plant, routine testing of plant, refurbishment of plant, modification to plant and outage support activities. This role has no direct reports.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance of electrical plant and associated systems.
* Perform routine testing of plant and participate in refurbishment activities.
* Implement modifications to plant and provide outage support.
* Maintain safe working practices in highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture.
* Collaborate with the client, other suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective operations.
* Report to the Site General Manager and Field Supervisors as part of the reporting line.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to develop relationships, maintain effective networks and be results-focused with a team-centred approach.
* Travel: 10% of the time.
