At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in sport, animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the Role:
Based at ARU Writtle College we are seeking a BTEC Sports Coaching Lecturer in Further Education, to teach across our Level 2 and 3 courses. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of coaching units within the BTEC Sport curriculum. Your role includes planning and delivering lessons that combine theory with practical, assessing student work in line with awarding body standards, and supporting learners in developing the skills and knowledge required for careers in coaching and sport
The ideal candidate will hold a level 2 GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, two A levels or vocational qualification at NVQ level 4 or equivalent, appropriate endorsed teaching qualification (or willingness to commence studies within 1 year of employment). Exceptional organisational and time-management skills are essential, along with the confidence to deliver both practical and theoretical content effectively.
Experience in teaching BTEC Sport qualifications and possession of a recognised coaching or teaching qualification will be highly advantageous.
