About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work on a project funded by the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke. The project (CardioFish) will investigate the effects of fish consumption and omega‑3 supplementation in reducing cardiovascular risk in young adults.
Responsibilities
 * Design, conduct and supervise human research studies on fish consumption and omega‑3 supplementation.
 * Apply research governance and ethical oversight requirements.
 * Perform laboratory analysis, including immunoassay, biochemistry and nutrient/metabolic biomarkers.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to scientific publications.
Qualifications
 * PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Human Nutrition, Dietetics or Biological Sciences (or related discipline).
 * Relevant experience with human research and research governance.
 * Experience in laboratory analysis (immunoassay, biochemistry, nutrient/metabolic biomarkers).
