Naturediet Pet Foods Limited in Ickburgh, Norfolk are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Production Operatives to work 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Operate equipment as trained to ensure production continues to flow.
· Complete appropriate paperwork correctly and clearly be responsibility for accuracy of your own administration.
· Report any issues or potential hazards to production supervisor/Engineer.
· Operate within the "clean as you go" policy, Dispose of waste, packaging and rubbish correctly. Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
· Work and follow all standard operational procedures including company quality guidelines.
· Adhere to all rules within Company handbook and maintain a high level of professionalism.
· Be responsible for your own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others around you, adhering to company health and safety procedures.
· Any other reasonable duties for which you are trained or capable of performing
To become trained in multiple areas of the factory to become Multi-Skilled
There are 4 main production areas. A production operative would be based in one of these areas but would be expected to assist in all.
Preparation room:
· Loading ingredients using automated loading equipment as well as manual handling.
· Follow recipe sheet in ensure correct ingredients used.
· Complete paperwork. monitor system.
· Ensuring cleanliness of the work area.
· Reporting any issues to production supervisor.
Filler room:
· Monitor and operate automated pack filling equipment ensuring all process parameters are adhered to.
· Complete Quality checks including; Pack positioning, forming, filling, sealing checks, C02 levels, X-ray and weight control monitoring.
· Complete paperwork to monitor production performance
· Ensuring cleanliness of the work area.
· Reporting any issues to the production supervisor.
Automated product transfer system:
· Monitor automated conveyors and pack handling equipment. Ensuring all equipment continues to run.
· Acknowledge automated Cooking programs, Monitor cooking profiles.
· Monitor pack quality during unloading,
· Complete paperwork to monitor production performance
· Ensuring cleanliness of the work area.
· Report any issues to the production supervisor.
Packing:
· Monitor and operate automated Packing machine ensuring all process parameters are adhered to.
· Complete Quality checks including; Pack and case print quality, pack and case, forming and sealing quality of post cook product.
· Complete paperwork to monitor production performance
· Ensuring cleanliness of the work area.
· Reporting any issues to the production supervisor.
Additional Duties : Labelling and rework:
· Complete rework and labelling tasks.
· Complete paperwork to monitor quality and stock control.
· Ensuring cleanliness of the work area.
· Reporting any issues to the Production Supervisor.
Full training will be given to the successful candidates.
Rate of pay £ £13.64 Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.81-£13.64 per hour
