The Role As M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the commercial management of mechanical and electrical projects from pre-construction through to final account Overseeing cost planning, budgeting and forecasting Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment Preparing and submitting valuations, variations and final accounts Monitoring project performance and ensuring profitability targets are achieved Managing and mentoring junior commercial staff where applicable Working closely with project managers and directors to drive commercial strategy Identifying and mitigating commercial risks Maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners The Ideal Candidate The successful M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager will have: Proven experience in a Senior QS or Commercial Manager role within an M&E contractor Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services projects Experience managing projects from £1m - £10m Excellent understanding of JCT and NEC contracts Strong negotiation and financial management skills A proactive, commercially astute mindset The ability to lead and influence both internal and external stakeholders Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree preferred) What's on Offer Competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 Company car or car allowance Performance-related bonus Pension scheme Healthcare Genuine long-term career progression Secure pipeline of North West projects Supportive and established senior leadership team Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
