We provide residential, nursing, and dementia care, prioritizing safety, comfort, and wellbeing. We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality team. The role involves organizing Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth dining experience for residents, overseeing dining room preparation, cleanliness, and meal service. You will manage rotas, training, and supervision of the team. This is a 40-hour per week position, paying £12.44 per hour, with shift times from 08:00 to 19:00, including alternate weekend work.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide high standards of hospitality service.
* Support and assist visitors.
* Communicate resident dietary requirements to the Chef.
* Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
* Ensure adherence to training protocols.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including cleaning schedules, work sheets, and fridge temperatures.
* Manage and supervise the hospitality team, ensuring quality service during shifts.
* Coach staff and support their ongoing development.
* Promote safeguarding and welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
* Experience in a care setting is desirable.
* Effective communication skills are essential.
* Participation in home-organized activities is required.
