Key Responsibilities
Leading a Team:
* General Team Management of Internal Sales Support & External Specification Team
* Motivating and coaching team members both internal and external
* Schedule & facilitate weekly team meetings on areas to focus and key metrics for success
* Develop and monitor teams’ performance i.e activities, appointments, specifications & NAD’s.
Sales:
* Develop and implement sales support role in creating synergy with external sales team & targets
* Analyse customer data and trends reporting back to Sales Director
* Monitor Sales Support metrics, KPI’s & drive a proactive service approach
Specification:
* Targeting key specifiers and project leads to develop and track with external specification team.
* Building relationships with architects and key specifiers
* Increase specifications of IG MSS & Keyfix product range
* Increase database of architects & manage to accuracy of CRM
* Help increase enquiries in both businesses
Administrative Support:
* Support and monitor new sales leads for both sales team & specification teams
* Provide monthly reports on internal sales support performance and specification team performance.
* Oversee and provide summaries and reports for key people within the business as required.
Meeting Preparation:
* Support with collation of customer review packs when requested, preparing comprehensive materials for meetings with key customers & specifiers.
* Lead in populating senior manager and business review slides each month where required.
Customer Visits & Events:
* Support customer visits to the Swadlincote site, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
* Ensure all onward activity following appointments actions, developed presentations and other client material as required.
* Be available for Industry events (sometimes in evenings or after work hours) where required. Organize some of these events with the help and support of marketing.
Supporting Audits:
* Lead and assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and answering audit related queries.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Previous experience in Construction sales
* Previous experience in specification and/or dealing with specifiers to gain specifications
* Experience of leading a team
* Familiarity with CRM systems.
* Skilled and confident in presenting CPD’s or similar
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
