The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a CNC Production Engineer to work at our client's manufacturing site based in Farnham, Surrey.
Temp to perm vacancy (12 weeks)
Monday-Friday (39 hours per week)
Duties
* Carrying out routine operation and maintenance on CNC machines.
* Troubleshooting of machining issues.
* Varying degrees of manual handling.
* Developing and refining manufacturing methods to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency
* Produce standard operating procedures, shop floor job packs, routings, and tooling sheets.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Requirements
* Speak a good level of English.
* Have experience within production and engineering.
* Have experience within CNC machine operation.
* Be a problem solver with good use of own initiative.
* Understanding of CNC machine tools, tooling, and machining processes for various materials.
* Be able to reliably commute to Farnham.
Pay rate £18.50 per hour, rate will progress once permanent.
Immediate start available- notice periods can be honoured.
