About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Social Workers to join our Continuing Care Team, supporting young people aged 14 to 26 years. The service assists those in receipt of throughcare and aftercare, or facing adolescent challenges such as conflicts with the law. This role offers a chance to contribute to the development of an evolving service and to uphold the PROMISE for young people.
What Will You Be Doing?
You will support the successful implementation of this new service and strive to improve outcomes for young people. Working in partnership with other agencies, you will ensure the best outcomes for our young people. As a Social Worker, you will support those impacted by the Care and Justice (Scotland) Act 2024, including those needing formal care and protection measures.
About You
The ideal candidate will be registered with the SSSC, interested in working with adolescents and young people, innovative, and committed to driving the new service forward. You should be a team player enthusiastic about leading and collaborating with social work colleagues and partner agencies.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid driver’s license, as the service covers the South Lanarkshire Area.
* Have at least two years of post-qualifying experience.
