What the Job Involves As a Principal Planning Officer in Development Management, you will manage and advise on planning applications, including complex and major planning submissions and appeals. Your role will involve acting as case officer on significant projects, attending Planning Committees, and representing the service in both internal and external meetings. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, contribute to service improvements, and engage with various stakeholders to negotiate development proposals in line with Council policies.
