Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sutton
Start Date: September 2025
Responsibilities
* Supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students are engaged with the work set by their absent teacher.
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment.
* Providing additional support to individual students or small groups as needed.
* Maintaining classroom order and discipline while adhering to the school's behaviour policies.
* Assisting with various administrative tasks and supporting school-wide activities.
* Reporting back to teachers on students progress, behaviour, and any issues.
Requirements
* Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting, but not essential.
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects as needed.
* A genuine interest in working with secondary school students and contributing to their development.
* A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for education.
