Carter Rolan Group are currently recruiting for a Head of HR working for a reputable manufacturing business in the automotive parts distribution industry, based in the Birmingham/Solihull area. The company is well-established, with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, and is looking for an experienced HR leader to drive their people strategy.
The Role:
As Head of HR, you will take full ownership of the HR function, providing strategic and operational support to ensure the business attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will work closely with the leadership team to shape the culture, enhance employee engagement, and implement HR initiatives that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the HR function across the business, providing strategic and operational guidance.
* Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives.
* Support employee relations and performance management.
* Drive initiatives around employee engagement, development, and retention.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HR leader, ideally within manufacturing or distribution.
* Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience driving HR strategy and delivering tangible business outcomes.
* CIPD qualified or equivalent professional HR qualification preferred.
